I am Associate Professor of Private Comparative Law at the Department of Political Science of the University of Trieste. I graduated in Law magna cum laude in 2003 at the University of Trieste, completed my Ph.D. in Comparative Law in 2008 at the University of Palermo and then got a Master of Laws from the New York University in 2011. I have been Visiting Professor at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia (2015, 2016, 2018), the Université de Montréal in Canada (2017), the Université Catholique de Lille in France (2017) and at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale in Italy (2019-2022). I am currently the Principal Investigator of a research project on ‘Digital Vulnerability in European Private Law’ financed by the Italian Ministry of University. My research focuses on the intersections between law, quantitative methods and emerging technologies.
